When we Meet

What To Expect
A typical service will last about 60 minutes with a good mix of contemporary and
traditional music led by our worship team. Laughter and joy are a regular part of
our services, while still keeping Jesus the focus of our worship. We are a come
as you are church, dresses and heels or jeans and boots, whatever you would
normally wear and our services are for all ages including infants and children.
Plan to come early for coffee and donuts or hang around after the service to
meet new friends and get information about us.

Kids Welcome
Sweetwater Community Church’s services are “all family” services meaning children
worship and participate in our main service. With an understanding of best practices
for children’s soul formation we want children in our services, believing they learn
about Jesus best by participating in with the church community rather than being separated.
To facilitate this, we have created a culture of understanding within our church
regarding family services for ALL ages. We expect there will be moments where
the children may shout a praise or wail in protest when the service feels a bit long.
To help families who may feel their children need to just be a kid for a bit, we have
created space in our foyer with seating areas, toys and activities for kids and a live
stream the service for parents!
